No one here is anything special…
Layne Ambrose
Layne currently lives in Sunny downtown Fargo with little more than needed. A good pen, scrap paper, and two cocker spaniels Razor and Blade. Spending most days collecting stories and anything else that can help sort out this mystery we call life.
Ambrose is the great big mouth that just won’t stop. He lives at home with his family Sylvia and their daughter. Ambrose is the glue that binds us all together and the only one willing to face the public. Ideas begin and end with him in the best of ways. Basically this was all his idea.
Chewing On Glass. is a collection of Ambrose’s stories, broken thoughts, and other things… Follow Ambrose on Instagram chewing.on.glass

There was once a frog. This frog danced and it sang. Screamed with joy at the top of its little lungs. Then one day a teacher handed a thirteen-year-old the frog and a scalpel. “Pin each part of the frog to a board,” the teacher said. The child excelled with ease. Working through the skin, the muscle, and the bones. Feeling nothing as they went. Dissecting until what was once a frog no longer resembled a frog. Kind of like that.
